Why learn from me?

Hi, I’m Ashten, founder of Sing with Ashten, a classically trained soprano with a Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, a full-time vocal coach, and the voice behind 84,000+ TikTok fans and 45,000+ Instagram followers. More importantly? I help everyday people turn “I can’t sing” into “I can’t believe that’s my voice.”

I created this program because I’ve been exactly where you are: frustrated, second-guessing every note, and secretly wondering if I just wasn’t “born to sing.” I spent years chasing the right techniques, earning the degrees, and decoding the science of the voice… so you don’t have to.

Now, I teach beginner singers how to find their voice (and fall in love with it) using proven, science-backed methods, a whole lot of support, and absolutely zero shame.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign that it’s your turn to sing—this is it.

Who I teach

I work with adult beginners and hobbyists, choir and worship singers, musical theater and community theater performers, and anyone who's ever been told they “can't sing.” Whether you want to sing karaoke without fear, last through Sunday services, or nail an audition, lessons are built around your voice and your goals.

Frequently asked questions

Can adults really learn to sing?

Yes. Singing is a skill, not a fixed talent. Pitch, breath control, range and tone all improve with clear instruction and regular practice, at any age.

Do online voice lessons work as well as in-person lessons?

For most adults, yes. On Zoom I can hear your tone and see your breathing, posture and jaw tension in real time, and you practice in the same space where you'll actually sing.

What happens in the free intro lesson?

We talk about your goals, I listen to how your voice is working right now, and you leave with a few techniques you can use immediately and a clear idea of what to work on next.

Do I need any equipment?

Just a phone or laptop with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. Headphones help but aren't required to start.
